Spock and Kirk on 'Entertainment Weekly'
Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at 3:53PM
I hate when this happens. Yesterday
I was all
excited about the new
Star Trek because
J.J. Abrams
promised to keep it under two hours long, and today I see this cover of
Entertainment Weekly, and it looks like an a
combo ad for a costume shop and an adult chat line.

No thank you.
Zachary
Quinto looks uncomfortable to me, and strangely,
Chris Pine
does not.

I have been on the record saying that the Trek re-boot is going to suck for a while now. Is this proof?
as Tyler Durdon might say "Is that what a man's supposed to look like?
This does look more like an ad for an emo startrek tv show then the movie.
Trust me, this cover is somehow less gay than the one from last week. Two words: Zac Efron.
Looks like Star Trek is getting the Starship Troopers treatment.

The cover alone makes me uncomfortable. There's no way I'd pay nine bucks to see whatever that is in a theater. Care to take a guess at what the "surprising secret of next summer's blockbuster" could be?
