Teaser Trailer - 'Friday the 13th'

Trailer Addict hipped me to the new teaser for the upcoming Friday the 13th remake, which aired during the Scream Awards on Spike.

I'm not in the corner of this one as a "remake;" it's really a new spin on Jason's origin story, or at least it sounds that way. If you've seen the first Friday the 13th, you know Jason doesn't actually kill anybody. It's his mother, Mrs. Voorhees, who does all the damage. This time around, it's just Jason, and he's already got the hockey mask.

Derek Mears plays Jason, and a bunch of teenagers play a bunch of teenagers.

Friday the 13th will be released or unleashed on Friday, February 13th.

Isn't Michael Bay somehow involved in this? Or did he decide to go the Alan Smithee Presents route on this one?
