Watch the First Teaser for 'Angels & Demons'

Almost everyone says Angels & Demons is a better read than The Da Vinci Code, but will the prequel make more money that the film version of Dan Brown's other book?

Tom Hanks and director Ron Howard are back in the fold, and Ewan McGregor co-stars, along with reliable hands Stellan Skarsgard and Armin Mueller-Stahl, so those are all positives.

Now there's a new teaser trailer from Columbia Pictures (via Trailer Addict) and I have to say, it's pretty damn good. It's funny how much we talk about summer blockbusters and comic book movies and all that, but this thing has a very legitimate shot to be the biggest movie of 2009.

Angels & Demons arrives on May 15th.
