Watch 'The Midnight Meat Train' For Free Online

It's Halloween, of course, and in the spirit of...well, spirits, I guess, FEARnet is giving horror movie fans a very special treat today (no pun intended).

All day long, you can watch Clive Barker's The Midnight Meat Train for free at FEARnet. Yep, completely and totally free. No sign-ups, no nothing. Just be over 18 and you can watch the Train as many times as you like. The best part about this is that you can't see this movie anywhere else right now. It's not on Video on Demand yet nor is it out on DVD.

The movie is based on a Clive Barker short story about a photographer who sees too much on assignment. Yep, he catches a serial killer in the act on the subway. Bradley Cooper's your hero, Vinnie Jones is your villain, and Brooke Shields and Leslie Bibb co-star.

This is a fantastic promotion for horror fans, obviously, but it's also great news for The Midnight Meat Train, which was scandalously mistreated by Lionsgate this summer, and that's not the first time that studio has been guilty of such an offense. Still, it only popped up in about 100 theaters for two weeks here at home with very little promotion, and made $83,000. By contrast, the film made more than that in Russia, Turkey, the Netherlands, and in South Korea, where it made the vast majority of its coin. Latvia delivered a comparable audience to the U.S. Hey, and whaddya know - different distributors in those countries. Hmmmmm....

So check out The Midnight Meat Train at FEARnet today and pass the message around.
