New JFK Conspiracy Movie on the Way

Producer
John Davis has acquired the rights to Paul
Alexander's book, Good Night, Dorothy Kilgallen, which
Variety reports might be distributed by Fox.
Kilgallen was a journalist who covered myriad stories for Hearst newspapers from
the 1930s to the mid-60s, everything from UFOs to show business to the Sam
Sheppard murder trial (the basis for The Fugitive). She was also a
panelist on What's My Line. The focus of the film will be Kilgallen's independent investigation into the JFK assassination. She conducted one of the very few interviews with Jack Ruby, and claimed, "That story isn't going to die as long as there's a real reporter alive, and there are a lot of them alive." Unfortunately, Kilgallen wasn't alive for long. She passed away in 1965 before finishing her investigation, and the cause of death was "undetermined," leading many to believe she was another victim of the Kennedy Conspiracy. That appears to be Alexander's position, and will no doubt be the thrust of the film, as well.

Well, as far as I understand it, Lee Harvey Oswald was a Soviet spy who was paid by the Cubans to assassinate JFK. The truth about this was apparently suppressed to prevent armageddon, which seems responsible enough.
It's a shame that American society should turn on itself over this issue.
