Groovy New Poster for 'Punisher: War Zone'

There are very few exceptions to this rule: Movies that
replace their directors suck.

Spartacus qualifies as an exception, depending on your take on who really directed American History X, that would, too. But generally speaking, when a director quits a project - or worse, is fired - the movie suffers for it.
Hey, guess what? Punisher: War Zone and director Lexi Alexander parted company this summer. Bad sign? That's what history would teach us.
On the plus side, I like this new poster. It's lenticular - which means 3-D - although you certainly can't tell it here. But look at it in person and, dude, it's so like you are so there, dude.

Punisher: War Zone will be in theaters on December 5th.

Like Hulk, Punisher is one of those characters that has infinite potential. And yet, Hollywood keeps effing it up. Not helping matters much is the fact that there are half a dozen other movies that are too similar coming out between now and the end of the year. Between Bond, Max Payne, and the Spirit is there really room for this?
Hey Marvel, how's about a Hulk vs Punisher crossover!? Now that's an interesting concept that actually might make a few bucks.
Until then, I'll save my money and add the Tom Jane version to my Netflix queue.
