New 'Star Trek' Trailer Beamed Up Online
Saturday, November 15, 2008 at 3:24AM
I would think that no matter what crammed little
multiplex you see Quantum of Solace in this weekend, the version of the
new
Star Trek trailer you see there will be much
better than this one leaked online Friday night.
Don't worry; we'll get a clean version Monday. But in
the meantime, if you're interested in the new Trek and you weren't going to see
Quantum of Solace, of if you just want to see it now because you've been
waiting so long already, here it is:
J.J. Abrams'
Star Trek.

Again, we'll get a better version Monday, but I think the trailer shows a lot of what we would expect from any J.J. Abrams film and some of the traditional Star Trek elements given a few new wrinkles. I certainly don't think he's completely betraying the legacy or anything. What do you think? Are you more interested now or did Star Trek lose you for good with those creepy metrosexual magazine covers last month?

I love all things Star Trek. The worst Star Trek(for me that is Nemisis) is still the best movie out there.
I'm definately stoked to see it. While I will always love the original cast and stories; nothing is wrong with having a new take on an old favorite.
