See 'Slumdog Millionaire' for Free
Sunday, November 16, 2008 at 6:53PM
We have a really cool opportunity for our local readers
in Phoenix to see the new film
Slumdog Millionaire from director
Danny Boyle
at a free screening this Tuesday night.
Harlan Jacobsen's
TalkCinema
contacted me recently to host a question and answer session following the
screening, and because everyone involved really wants more people to see the
film, we're inviting anyone who wants to see it to check it out.

The movie recently won the audience award at the Toronto Film Festival and it's a terrific drama with a great and well-developed love story at its center. So if you're in the Phoenix area and you're interested in seeing Slumdog Millionaire this Tuesday night, November 18th, send us an e-mail and we'll give you the e-vite you need to get in. But it's absolutely free and it's a great way to get hooked up with TalkCinema, which has been promoting independent film around the country for many, many years.

Colin,
Just curious if you were going to be attending/Q & A-ing the Wednesday night screening as well at the Camelview Theatre, or if it was a Tuesday night only affair.
Howard.
No, it's just Tuesday. I will have seen the movie three times by then, so I don't need another refresher course the next night. Great film, though, so see it whenever you can.
