Trailer - Kate Beckinsale vs. The Man in 'Nothing But the Truth'

I caught Kate Beckinsale in Snow Angels when the movie was released on DVD a couple months ago. It was a really solid performance, and I think, because she looks like Kate Beckinsale and spent a few years leaning on that, she doesn't always get enough credit. Kate's not half-bad, and sometimes, she's even really good.

The best evidence may be yet to come, and she's received plenty of praise already for her work in Nothing But the Truth, writer-director Rod Lurie's fictionalized legal drama that's kind of a Law & Order version of the Valerie Plame case. It has a really good supporting cast, too - Alan Alda, Vera Farmiga, Matt Dillon, Angela Bassett, and two Must See TV vets (David Schwimmer and Noah Wyle).

Check out the trailer, which premiered yesterday on Moviefone.

Nothing But the Truth will debut in time for awards consideration, opening in New York on December 19th.
