Win Passes to See 'Milk' From The Big Picture
Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at 8:01PM
For our local Big Picture readers in Phoenix, we've got
passes for you to check out
Sean Penn in
Milk, the latest film from director
Gus Van Sant,
on Tuesday night, November 25th.A biopic of Harvey Milk, the first openly gay elected official in the United States, Milk has taken on a little more meaning recently, particularly with the Prop 8 ballot initiative in California, the state where he fought so hard for equal rights for homosexuals 30 years ago.
Milk co-stars James Franco, Emile Hirsch, and Josh Brolin and opens on the 26th, so you'll see it a day early. Still, it's not like you're going to work very hard on the day before Thanksgiving, so go see a movie Tuesday night and phone it in on Wednesday. It's the American Way!
If you want passes, drop us a line before Friday, November 21st at Noon Pacific. And if we pick you at random, you'll send you some movie passes. Pretty simple.
