New 'Terminator Salvation' Poster: It's Alive!!

There's a new poster for Terminator Salvation, and I've got to admit, I've never seen Donatella Versace look worse.

Thanks to Sony Pictures

The poster is cool enough on its own, I guess, but click on it and watch what happens. It's a full-on Flash poster over at the Sony site. Pretty cool.

I'm confused by a couple of things: A) Wasn't this called Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins once upon a time? It's now listed on IMDB as just Terminator Salvation. I guess we'll figure out if there really was a name change in the next couple of months. B) What's with the "Coming Soon" on the poster? Is it not going to be May 22nd now?

Still, I'm anxious to see this one and can't wait to see what Christian Bale does as John Connor.

I already know what Christian Bale will do as John Connor.

He will squint, stare, bob his head and let out a hoarse middle-of-the-Atlantic accent.

Same thing as he always does.

I have to say that was a creative poster. Have you seen anything like that for any other movie before?

Not specifically, no, but then, it's technically not a "poster," I guess. It's Flash animation.
