Leonard Nimoy Beamed Up for Alternate 'Trek' Trailer

Ain't It Cool News is Thanksgiving Claus, giving us a well-timed holiday present from Paramount Pictures at J.J. Abrams' Star Trek.

Remember that really cool trailer for the film? You've probably seen it a couple times, once in the bootlegged version and once in higher quality a couple of days later. Now there's a new addition to that trailer: Leonard By God Nimoy.

As you probably know he's playing an older Spock in the film (Zachary Quinto plays Spock as a young, strapping, and oh-so-logical Vulcan), and this trailer gives us our first look at him. In other words: Suck on that, Shatner.


Or watch it all in glorious High Definition

Once again, another great way to get people talking. J.J. Abrams is a master of that stuff. I have no doubt we'll get a litany of stuff to show you before we all Boldly Go on May 8th.
