'The Reader' Poster Requires Almost No Reading

I think I've seen this poster before, but I can't place it. Anyway, the new version is for The Weinstein Company's big Oscar movie this year, The Reader, starring Kate Winslet and Ralph Fiennes.The story is certainly interesting, although I can't figure out what button it's trying to push just yet. You've got a German teen in World War II (David Kross) who is being seduced by an older woman (Kate Winslet), and then she just disappears. A few years later, she turns up again...on trial for aiding the Nazis. And the boy, now a young lawyer, is somehow or other part of the proceedings. See, that part I get; that's really an interesting story. But what I don't get - at least not yet - is how the much older version of the kid (Ralph Fiennes) fits in.
