Downey Reportedly KO'd on 'Sherlock' Set

As with any story that comes from
The Sun, please tread lightly. But it's been a
couple of weeks since we've heard anything on the progress of
Sherlock Holmes, the new
Guy Ritchie-directed
re-imagining of the world's greatest detective, and this story, if not 100%
factual, is at least interesting.
The Sun says that there's a spot of trouble on
the set, which has included a fuel tanker that burst into flames on the set. If
this were Transformers, that would be part of the fun, wouldn't it? But
this is different, and apparently, some cast and crew had to make a hasty
retreat and the set was closed for a couple of hours.

The big headline, however, is that Robert Downey Jr. was reportedly waylaid during a fight scene by a seven-foot-tall co-star, a former pro wrestler named Robert Maillet, best known as Kurrgan. Downey was described in the paper as being "out cold" for a few seconds and "drooling blood" from his mouth. “Robert was accidentally caught on the chin by a thundering hook. He went flying and was out cold," a source told The Sun. “He didn’t want to go to hospital and kept trying to get up. He’s a trooper. But there have been lots of other problems too.”
I'll grant you, it's nothing close to The Exorcist curse, but I do like the fact that Downey will take one for the team like that. Perhaps it's payback from the wrestling community for the time Thomas Jane really stabbed Kevin Nash while filming The Punisher.

The question is will the use the clip of Downey getting knocked out for the film or will it just be an extra
I hope that Maillet isn't too worried about all that. From all that I have heard he is a really nice guy and was probably worried to death about knocking out star like Robert Downey Jr.
