Joaquin Phoenix is Serious About This Retirement Thing

Last week, we shared with you the video of
Joaquin
Phoenix announcing
his retirement from acting. Some people thought
he was joking, others thought he was drunk.
This weekend, Phoenix appeared at the AFI Fest screening
of Che, and his message seems clear, if not masterfully executed.
Yes, Phoenix is saying "Bye! Good" to acting, and he'll be saying "There Hi" to a music career shortly.
"It's like greener pastures, you know what I mean?" Phoenix told the AP on Saturday. "And so, I'm just going to try and like, I'll just be doing the other thing. ... Hopefully, I will emotionally impact you with that, as well."
