Even More Photos from 'The Spirit'

You'll find these, in larger sizes, plus about ten more shots. I think I've figured it out: If The Spirit were a slideshow, then I'd be sold. But once these images start moving, the effect loses a little something. Maybe it's just bad trailers, and that happens. But it sure seems like there's something great in every one of these photos that I'm just not seeing when I watch any of the video.You know what it's starting to remind me of? Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, which looked frighteningly cool in pictures, but just didn't have enough story or enough directorial verve to match the look.The Spirit pops up in theaters this Christmas.
