Rumor Patrol: Megan Fox is Not Wonder Woman

Perhaps because it seems like a natural fit, there were
some people who bought into the ruse over at
Wonder Who
that Megan Fox
was playing
Wonder Woman. As of now, it ain't happening,
but I think DC and Warner Bros. would be fools to not at least inquire about her
interest when the time comes.
But you have to give Wonder Who credit for their little five-stage reveal of the new Wonder Woman, and the picture, while clearly faked, does give you a good idea of what she'd look like in her satin tights, fighting for her rights and the old red, white, and blue.
Jo Blo confirmed with Warner Bros. that the site and the casting of Fox as Wonder Woman is "complete B.S.", although the real B.S. is that there's still not a Wonder Woman movie, or that we'll see her first in a craptastic Justice League movie. I've said this before: If you look at the top five or six characters from Marvel and the top five or six from DC, Wonder Woman is the one clear advantage DC Comics has yet to exploit. There's no Marvel equivalent, and I can't believe coming up with a good screenplay and a good Wonder Woman is a feat bordering on impossible.

Yeah, I'm not sure that Ms. Fox would be able to carry a movie by herself at this point. She seems doomed to suffer the same fate as Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton as an actress...Once we have memorized all of the photos in FHM, it's on to the next pinup. But will people pay to see a Megan Fox vehicle? And more importantly will our girlfriends allow us to go?!
