Tune In To Five New 'Valkyrie' Commercials

Operation Valkyrie has stepped up its marketing assault, with a handful of new television commercials.

I made the point a couple of weeks ago about how great the marketing has been for this movie so far. The posters are fantastic, the trailers have been very, very good, and ultimately, those are things that help moviegoers determine whether or not they'll see a movie. If they like the trailers but were otherwise undecided about seeing Valkyrie, I'd say they'd be more inclined to pay their ten bucks after watching one. If marketing wasn't supposed to work that way, then nobody would do it, right?

On the flip side, I'm still really cautious about Tom Cruise. He's a solid leading man in the right circumstances but I don't think he's as capable an actor as the rest of this ensemble, and that American accent just drives me nuts. It's so out of place. But really, that's the only negative I have right now.

Take a look at these five commercials and see if you're not swayed one way or the other:

Valkyrie, the perfect holiday treat, will be released on December 25th.
