Watch a Couple 'Gran Torino' TV Commercials

A pair of new TV ads have premiered for Clint Eastwood's Gran Torino. The actor-director-composer says this will probably be his last performance on screen, although it would be hard to top his work in Million Dollar Baby.

While the film appears to have a moral (and like most of Eastwood's work, justice appears to be a theme), Gran Torino also looks a little lighter than his last, oh, half-dozen or so movies. Mystic River, Million Dollar Baby, Flags of Our Fathers, Letters from Iwo Jima, and Changeling are not exactly Saturday matinees. That's not to say Torino will remind you of Every Which Way But Loose, just that there might be a few laughs.

Check out Eastwood's crotchety bad-assery in these two new commercials:

Thanks to Trailer Addict for tracking down the commercials

Gran Torino will open in limited release on December 12th, and like a lot of movies this time of year, will get a bigger run in mid-January.
