New Japanese 'Dragonball' Trailer is Just Awful

There's a new full-length Japanese trailer for
Dragonball
making the rounds. And now it's official: This looks terrible.

Obviously, this is just a trailer and experience tells us trailers are almost always misleading. So this might be really good. But they're not making a compelling case to this point.
Dragonball Evolution opens on April 8th in the U.S.

Huh, strangely that makes me want to see it. I probably stand alone in this opinion.
The most aggressive haters actually like this trailer. I love it, I don't see how Colin isn't feeling it right now. I guess you have to be a fan of the series to see al the cool little things in the trailer to get excited about. Grandpa Gohan looks so cool in this.
Seriously, that training scene? That's so bad. The hand-to-hand stuff looks OK, but it's so drenched in visual effects nonsense that it can barely be followed.
I do admit that the first training scene shown in the trailer is a bit meh at parts, but thats a small beef I have. I think the visual effects made the leaked footage from a couple months ago harder to follow. Not in this trailer. I can follow along just fine with the selected action sequences. Maybe its because I've seen it a couple times enlarged. Still I think this could be a good movie, I'm a huge fan of the series since I was in middle school and I have some faith in this.

This movie will probably be awful, but I will go see it anyways because of Marsters as Piccolo. From what I've seen it looks like he'll pull off the character, plus he sounds like Piccolo in the English anime.
Are you guys kidding this movie looks horrible, any real DB, DBZ, DBGT fan would know this is going to be a disaster.
