The Top 50 Guy Movies of the 1990s
Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at 9:36PM
Tyler Durden, Neo, Andy Dufresne, Keyser Soze, Vincent
Vega, and William Wallace. What do they all have in common? They're all
incredibly memorable movie characters, yes, and in their own ways, they're all
bad-asses.
But they're also pivotal points in movie history all
sandwiched in the 1990s.
Gunaxin has compiled a list of classic films
from that decade that just so happens to be geared at guys: The Top Fifty Guy
Movies of the 1990s.
2 - The Matrix
3 - Pulp Fiction
4 - The Shawshank Redemption
5 - The Usual Suspects
6 - Heat
7 - Terminator 2: Judgment Day
8 - Saving Private Ryan
9 - Hard Boiled
10- Braveheart

Reading it, I was surprised how many good entries there really were that decade, and that's before you consider a lot of movies aren't made for guys.
Here's the top ten, but check out Gunaxin's list and see what you think of their ratings:
1 - Fight Club
2 - The Matrix
3 - Pulp Fiction
4 - The Shawshank Redemption
5 - The Usual Suspects
6 - Heat
7 - Terminator 2: Judgment Day
8 - Saving Private Ryan
9 - Hard Boiled
10- Braveheart

You forgot my #1 Top Guy Film - Thursday - which was directed by Skip Woods, starring Thomas Jane, Aaron Eckhart, Paulina Porizkova, James LeGros, Mickey Rourke, and Gary Dourdan.
Not my list, I'm afraid. But really, that'd be your number one guy movie from the 90s?
of course Fight Club is the Top Guy movie of the 90's, if only for the line
"We're are a generation of men raised by women, I wonder if another woman is the right answer"
