New Thirty-Second Clip from Pixar's 'Up'
Monday, December 15, 2008 at 11:48PM
The next big thing from Pixar is
Up, which might have the most senior-oriented
content since Cocoon, or at least since Michael Douglas' last movie.

We now know a little bit more about it, thanks to a new
synopsis, added oh so sneakily to the film's IMDB page. It reads thus:
Up is the last major release of the first full
month of major films next year, hitting theaters on May 29th.

"By tying thousands of balloon to his home, 78-year-old Carl Fredricksen sets out to fulfill his lifelong dream to see the wilds of South America. Right after lifting off, however, he learns he isn’t alone on his journey, since Russell, a wilderness explorer 70 years his junior, has inadvertently become a stowaway on the trip."
Carl is voiced by Edward Asner, which is perfect casting, and Christopher Plummer, Delroy Lindo, and John Ratzenberger also figure prominently in this fantasy. The synopsis above helps explain this new clip from Up, which we happened upon over at Movie Web.
