Sneak Peek at Season Five of 'Lost'
Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at 12:21PM
You know what has two thumbs and is excited for season
five of
Lost? This guy.
The fourth season, the one that may have saved the
show's bacon, was unlike anything we'd ever really seen in television. What we
think are flashbacks that turn out to be flashforwards before the timeline
eventually catches up to itself and they turn out to be the present, an even
greater emphasis placed on the show's nominal villain (Ben Linus), who may not
be a villain at all, plus a possible world record for utterances of "brotha,"
thanks to Desmond...unless you count Hogan Knows Best.
And there's another clip, too, in case you missed it, that features Kate (Evangeline Lilly), who as we know,
welcomed a bouncing baby boy in the past year, even though it's not really hers:

So, because last season was so much better than the previous one - and to be fair, only about half of season three was not very interesting - I think Lost may be due for a big audience rebound. It's one of the few consistent dramas on network TV, it won't be dealing with repeats, and if you've seen NBC's spring schedule...well, they might as well just turn off the lights over there.
Here's a sneak peek at the fifth season, and it looks like a show open to me. It's Jack and Ben talking about getting the band back together, more or less:
Lost returns January 21st.

Those clips look good, getting back to the dark stuff, hopefully they will take it light on the flashblacks this season.
We don't need too many flashbacks now. For one thing, we have fewer original characters left and for another, we've found out just about everyone's story. Still waiting to tie Sawyer into trying to kill Jack's dad, though. That's gotta happen.
oh my god i'm so excited, thank you for posting these colin!!!
