Trailer - Paul Rudd in 'I Love You, Man'

I'm so happy being Paul Rudd has finally paid off for Paul Rudd. I was really concerned that he'd always be the second banana (or third or fourth) after that string of Apatow movies, but Role Models changed that. And perhaps because people are so familiar with him through the Apatow stuff, they'll now buy tickets to see Rudd as a leading man.

We'll get our answer soon enough; he's starring in I Love You, Man with Jason Segel, playing a prospective groom who's never had any real guy friends, so he starts man-dating to find a best man.

It's just slightly off the beaten path of a usual romantic comedy, and sometimes, that's enough.
