A Little More 'Bloody Valentine'

There really is no right way to make a good horror
movie. It can be bloody and brilliant (High Tension), it can be all suspense and
no blood (The Ring), or it can just tap into something you don't want tapped
into (The Exorcist). So I don't know if
My Bloody Valentine 3-D is going about this the
right way or not. I will say, it can't be any worse than the original, so
there's hope.
I love the fact that they're camping up the story,
adding the 3-D gimmick (which, even if it's good 3-D, is still a bit gimmicky
here), and I think it's great that Lionsgate is clearly having fun with the
premise. And sometimes, that's the right approach. Didn't work for Texas Chainsaw,
but it could have.

And now there's a well-edited trailer or mini-trailer or something for My Bloody Valentine that asks the age old question, "What makes a perfect date movie?" I agree with Jim Dorey at Marketsaw when he says this really hits the target audience. Take a look:
