Watch Clips, First Eight Minutes of 'Resident Evil: Degeneration'

I think the producers of Resident Evil: Degeneration have made a very smart move going the performance capture route with this direct-to-DVD release, which just came out on Saturday. Don't look at it as a sequel to the previous films, because there's a fourth movie ramping up pre-production right now; instead, look at it as a completely separate off-shoot. It's pretty good technology for a DVD release, too, and we've got some clips to prove it, plus a look behind the scenes at the advancements being made in performance capture as well as the first eight minutes of the film, all of which come courtesy of MovieWeb.

Borderline "uncanny valley" but it's watchable.
