Monday, December 29, 2008 at 9:31AM Weak Trailer for 'Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li'
About a month ago, the first production photos for
Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li were leaked online. I thought they were OK, but I had just seen some shots from Dragonball, and frankly, of the geekboy fascinations, I'd give the edge to Chun Li.

Now a new trailer has popped up on You Tube (thanks
Cinematical), and those of you who commented about how lame Chun Li looked certainly have more ammunition. I mean, wow, this thing is bad. The worst part of it is it doesn't look like anyone in the cast is doing their own jumping around. It's all wire work stuff, or so it appears. That gets boring after a while, particularly when a movie looks as poorly acted as this one does.
Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li opens at the end of February.

Looks like a scifi channel movie.
Also, if your going to make a movie about Chun Li, then your preview better god dam include some hint of her ligthning kick.
Lastly, DBZ looks better then this.
It looks slightly better than a SciFi channel movie. They're movies always look like they were shot with a handheld VHS camera. This looks marginally better than that, but not much.
Tried it again, it still sucks.
I did notice that the character Vega is in it clearly identified.
All of this is forgiven if they put Kristin Kreuk in a Chun Li outfit matching the game one.
How can you tell all this from a trailer? The movie's directed by freakin' Romeo Must Die director so the action's gonna be good. Kristin Kreuk and mainstay action flick Michael Duncan keeps it real. Give it a chance, guys, this movie's gonna be better than you think, and i'm gonna say, i told u so.
