'Iron Man 2' Casting Call Has Euro Feel

We don't know for certain these if these are legit, but a couple of websites have run this information, presumably related to a casting call for Iron Man 2.

The film will go into production next spring, with May 2010 already established as its release date. Most of the principals have been confirmed; about the only one still up in the air is Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts, although if she did the first one, I can't think of a plausible reason she'd turn down the sequel.  But this little casting news has nothing to do with any of that. By the looks of it, we could be targeting villains here.

So what are Marvel's Kevin Feige and director Jon Favreau looking for?

[MALE LEAD]
30s, Eastern European, brilliant, gritty...

[FEMALE LEAD]
20s, beautiful, speaks several languages fluently and is equally proficient in martial arts...

[BRUISER]
Russian, 20s or 30s, at least 6'2", able to perform own stunts, has the build of a MMA fighter...

As for the source of this material, it's SpoilerTV, whicho recently had some great high-quality Wolverine images. But the site doesn't say where they found the info on this casting, and IESB indicates that the casting agencies don't have anything for the film yet. Doesn't mean it's not official, just that it may not be officially official.

Let's say, for the sake of discussion, it's real. What do these descriptions mean to you? The female sounds a lot like Black Widow, although it would make more sense to introduce her through Captain America since she has a little of the super soldier serum in her. Madame Masque maybe? Seems too early in the franchise for that, but I guess it's an option.

The "bruiser" is either Crimson Dynamo or Titanium Man, I would think. The Eastern European guy has me stumped, however. Who could they be looking for that fits the description?

Again, this could be a ruse, but I thought it was a fun little guessing game.
