Stars Align for 'Prop 8: The Musical'

And now for something completely different...

Funny or Die has produced a brand new video about California's recent Proposition 8 vote, and they've put together a dream musical theatre cast: John C. Reilly, Jack Black, Maya Rudolph, NPH, and a host of others. Prop 8: The Musical is written by Marc Shaiman and directed by Adam Shankman.

Absolutely brilliant. You can't lose with the NPH.

Yeah, you're right: Neil Patrick Harris is basically a god. He is always funny and he plays a different role in almost everything.

But let's not overlook Jack Black. Jack Black is popular in Hollywood right now, but I can tell you it's hard defending him in movie buff circles these days. I can't say why; I mean, just look at this video. He's so funny! Come on! Maybe it's just me, but I think he has some great comedic delivery.

This video makes me think what a modern American version of Life of Brian would look like. It's probably just the Jesus thing. But you've got to think: Neil Patrick Harris would play an awesome Brian.
