Cate Blanchett in 'Vanity Fair'

Cate Blanchett graces the cover of the February issue of Vanity Fair, and graces is a pretty good word for it. Inside the issue, you'll find a nice feature on the Oscar-winner, who might just be the best and most versatile actress not named Meryl Streep that we've got. And even then, a head-to-head match-up over the past ten years greatly favors Blanchett.

She reveals, among other things, that she's not plugged into Hollywood and that her husband would divorce her if she got plastic surgery. Like a lot of Vanity Fair pieces, this one is accompanied by an Annie Leibovitz pictorial, and it's one of the more naturalistic, laid-back sets of her photographs the magazine has run in a very long time.

Check out a few samples:

Blanchett, of course, has The Curious Case of Benjamin Button in theaters. After that, we may not see her for a while. We'll hear her in The Fantastic Mr. Fox this November, but she's only rumored for a few other roles at this point.

I LOVE her.
Cate & New Orleans are the best reasons to see 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button'
