'Crank 2' Red Band Trailer Turns Up the Juice

OK, you've been warned: This new Crank 2: High Voltage Red Band trailer is almost maroon it's so Red Band. Lots of the f-bomb and other choice words, as well as a few other things you probably wouldn't find in a normal trailer.

It's also exactly what this trailer should be. I'm not a Jason Statham fan, but if you saw the first Crank and can't wait to see the new one in April, then this trailer is tailor-made for you. Dwight Yoakam has a memorable line here, Amy Smart's nipples are covered with electrical tape...it's good fun.

The movie looks stupid as hell, but that's hardly the point with Crank 2, is it?

UPDATE:

Now, unfortunately, we've had to remove the trailer for Crank 2 - and with all that build up. Here's why: "It’s copyrighted footage, and it shouldn’t have been released yet. Additionally, this trailer has not been approved by the MPAA, so Lionsgate could face severe penalties if it’s not taken down immediately."

Well now, we don't want that, do we? So instead, enjoy the worst fight scene ever.

We'll get a new Crank 2: High Voltage trailer to you as soon as it's been approved/sanitized/whatever. Look for the flick in theaters on April 17th.
