Poster - The Serial Killer Flick, 'The Horsemen'

I'll always pay a little more attention when Zhang Ziyi is involved, and especially since we haven't seen much of the beautiful and talented star of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Hero, and The House of Flying Daggers in the past couple of years, I'm probably more interested in The Horsemen than I should be. Actually, it has a lot of pretty compelling story, on the surface. Dennis Quaid plays a recently widowed detective is investigating a serial killing spree that has links to the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Through the course of his investigation, he discovers a connection between himself and the prime suspects in the case. And it has Zhang Ziyi. On the downside, the film went into production two years ago and then went back in front of the cameras a year ago for reshoots. I wouldn't buy a lot of that stock. Here's the new Italian poster for The Horsemen, which was hanging out over at IMP.

This looks really bad. Both the poster and the story. I will avoid this movie. If it was any good it would have been out ages ago. It's only gonna be a limited release. If it doesn't go straight to DVD in the end. Sounds like it should actually.
