Sweet New 'Watchmen' Featurette Eases the Pain

Who knows if we'll see this movie on time or not, but there's a brand new featurette for Watchmen over at MySpace.

It's funny that potentially one of the biggest movies of next year is getting so much press on what is commonly a dead week for movie news. But this damned fine four-minute video made its way online less than a week after a judge in Los Angeles ruled that Fox, the studio that once held 100% of the film rights to the property, still maintained some of its ownership even though Warner Bros. made and was going to release the film this March.

Add to that yesterday's depressing news that Fox might try to delay the film so that all the issues can be sorted out, no doubt in its favor, and suddenly there's less excitement about this video and almost a sense of melancholy.

Still, it's cool, and I really think Zack Snyder might have outdone himself; everything we've seen to this point is just about flawless.

We'll keep you updated on the status of Watchmen the minute we hear anything about the legal movements or the release date.

Fucking nice!! What a great featurette this really put my mind at ease, I think this will be a great movie. Still hoping they didn't rape the ending though...
