after TrytophanPhest 2008 this past weekend, there were a lot of big/interesting
stories we covered here at The Big Picture. Since it's closing in on 2009, we

contenders from the pretenders for awards.Beyond that, however, there are some new things on the horizon that we have to follow, like Kristen Stewart playing Joan Jett, how much of Watchmen will remain in the film and how much will wait for DVD, and just what in the world are they going to do with a re-imagining of the Planet of the Apes prequel?
