Five 'Half-Blood Prince' First Looks

If there's a plus to completely reshaping the fall 2008 landscape by moving its biggest movie to the following summer, I guess it would be that Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is very likely a finished product already. Maybe they've still got a few minor tweaks, but the odds are Warner Bros. is just sitting on it at this point.

What that means is the studio can take its time, promoting the film a little bit at a time, not that the Potter movies need a whole lot of promotion; there's only one current film franchise that will earn over $6 billion worldwide, after all.

But with seven months to go before Half-Blood Prince reaches theaters, ABC Family aired a handful of sneak peeks this weekend - which is apparently Harry Potter Weekend over there - and we get to hear from Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson, and see a few clips from the film.

Warner Bros. is releasing Harry Potter on July 19th, the same weekend that they used this year to launch a little Batman movie you may have heard about.
