Monday, December 8, 2008 at 10:06PM 'Body of Lies' Gets DVD Release Date
On the whole, I think
Body of Lies is one of the more overlooked
films of the year. I understand why audiences weren't drawn to it, however; in
this political and economic landscape, movies about a wholly unpopular war have
not done well at the box office.
But should this be somewhere north of the 62nd biggest
hit of 2008? Sure, without question. Both the lead performances by
Leonardo
DiCaprio and
Russell Crowe were on target, the action was
pretty good, and
Mark Strong's performance was one of the better
supporting roles we've seen over the course of the past 12 months.

Hopefully, it will find more a groove on DVD. As a $70 million film that hasn't even crossed $100 million worldwide, it definitely needs to. And we've learned that Body of Lies will be out on DVD, two-disc special edition DVD, and Blu-Ray on February 17th.
We don't know all the specifics about the bonus features just yet, but we do know it will feature comment'ries from director Ridley Scott, writer William Monahan, and David Ignatius, who wrote the book on which the film is based. You'll also find the documentary Actionable Intelligence: Deconstructing Body of Lies as well as an interactive debriefing, whatever that might be. Depending on the version you buy, prices for Body of Lies will range from $29 - $36.

This film did make more than $100 million world wide. Pls check your facts.
And yes it is very well acted and quite a good film
when DiCaprio was launched to Hollywood world I thought "this men is a bad bad actor", however after some words in Generic Viagra and acting in movies as "catch me if you can" "Blood Diamond" and the last success "Inception" I change my mind aobut this actor.
In last weeks Economist, there's a semi-decent article on reading sentiment from large masses of anecdotal data (tweets, mainly). qdgmpx qdgmpx - moncler doudoune.
