Colin Farrell, Paz Vega Get Some 'Triage'

Fresh off two of the best - and unfortunately, least seen - performances of his career, Colin Farrell has signed on to co-star with import Paz Vega (Spanglish) and the venerable Christopher Lee in a new film from director Danis Tanovic, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

If the name is unfamiliar, Tanovic scored one of the biggest upsets in modern Oscar history when his terrific international political film, No Man's Land, about the war in Bosnia, trumped the much more popular Amelie for Best Foreign Language Film in 2002.

His new film, Triage, is based on the novel by Scott Anderson. In Triage, Farrell will play a photojournalist returning home from a dangerous assignment. His best friend is not so lucky, and Farrell's world begins to weigh him down. Meanwhile, his girlfriend (Vega) begins to investigate the circumstances behind the disappearance of her lover's friend.

It will be a return to friendly environs for both stars, as Triage is scheduled to shoot in Ireland at a Ciudad de la Luz studios in Spain later this month.
