Sunday, April 13, 2008 at 11:50AM Trailer - The Batman DVD 'Gotham Knight'
You have to give Warner Bros. credit for recognizing the near-universal appeal of Batman. With The Dark Knight already one of the most intriguing and anticipated movies of the summer, the studio is providing a very cool DVD bookend to the theatrical release with Batman: Gotham Knight.
It's an anime take on Batman in anthology form: Six celebrated Japanese directors working from scripts by writers like David S. Goyer and Josh Olson creating their own short films, all of which interlock "to reveal Bruce Wayne's transition from beginner to Dark Knight."
Batman: Gotham Knight will be released on July 8th, less than two weeks before The Dark Knight hits theaters. Get more information and sign up for e-mail updates about the DVD at The Gotham Knight website.
