A couple of months ago, we spoonfed you one trailer for Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Earlier this week, we tacked the poster to your wall. Now here's another trailer, and it's pretty damn terrific, I must say.

And you know, the Clone Wars are a deeply important (and missing) piece to the Star Wars puzzle. I think I'd rather see this than whatever the hell would come after Return of the Jedi.

I think the animation is quite a welcome departure, and with animation, the opportunities are even less limited than in George Lucas' CGI world.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars will be in theaters on August 15th (where I expect it to do pretty well) and then the series from which this film was plucked will begin on TNT and the Cartoon Network in the fall.
