CineVegas, a film festival that finally - at long last - gives citizens of Las Vegas a reason to get out of the house - will hit the Palms between June 12th and the 21st.
And it was announced today that Peter Catteneo's comedy The Rocker, starring Rainn Wilson from The Office as a failed drummer who joins a high school rock band, will kick off the festival while Sean McGinly's The Great Buck Howard will serve as the finale.
CineVegas will also feature a noir musical called Dark Streets, which sounds incredibly cool, and Your Name Here, a sci-fi movie starring Bill Pullman and directed by Matthew Wilder. Is it the same Matthew Wilder who made the world throw giant rocks at their radio whenever the 80s song "Break My Stride" was played.
And, perhaps not so coincidentally, the new trailer for The Rocker popped up online today. So here it is.
