As you can see from the brand new French teaser released
by Lionsgate,
Transporter 3 isn't just exactly like
Transporter and Transporter 2, it's also exactly like Crank.
Or at least that's what they're selling.
We talked about
Transporter 3 last week in terms of being a patently
unnecessary sequel. I think
Jason Statham's Bank Job is one of the
better movies of 2008 so far, and I think he's holding himself back doing
follow-ups to movies that just weren't that good in the first place. As action
flicks go, Crank and Transporter are fine, I guess, but the
scenery's not really changing: Suit, fast car, kicks some ass, hot chick.
The new movie is directed by a guy with the coolest show
business name in years:
Olivier Megaton. Megaton. Awesome. And it does
look like he brings plenty of action to part three, for what it's worth.
Transporter 3 will be in theaters on November
26th.

Man I saw at least 4 separate scenes where he wasn't even wearing a shirt. Can we get the female version of this formula? Milla Jovovich driving fast cars always getting into hand to hand combat where she needs to remove her dress to win the fight.
Good suggestion. I didn't want to beat a dead horse about the homoeroticism in the The Transporter, but it appears to be - pardon the expression - raging again.
Would Milla be the best suggestion for the female version? I vote Rhona Mitra.
