Thursday, June 12, 2008 at 1:23PM Trailer - 'Benjamin Button' Speaks Our Language
Several weeks ago, a Spanish-language trailer for this
winter's
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button found its
way online. Amazingly, it took the best part of a month to, I don't know,
translate it into English or something. We finally have the new trailer for you,
which is not just in the film's language, but the video quality is much better.
Here's what we know about Benjamin Button: It's
based on an F. Scott Fitzgerald short story about a man who ages in reverse,
stars
Brad Pitt,
Cate Blanchett,
Tilda Swinton, and
Taraji P. Henson, and it's directed by
David Fincher.
Also, we know that it looks pretty remarkable:
Let's hope the same fate doesn't befall Fincher's
Zodiac, which was originally supposed to be a fall movie but got pushed back
because Fincher's a pretty demanding director. The film, while brilliant, never
got the push in Spring it would have in October or November. Benjamin Button
is scheduled for a December 19th release.
