That's Funny, I Never Thought of Jenna Jameson as the "Making Love" Type

Jenna Jameson will play herself in a new romantic comedy called How to Make Love to a Woman, and I guess, for a certain crowd, she'd be a pretty good resource in that department.

The movie, which is shooting in Los Angeles, casts Josh Meyers as a guy in the music industry who not only can't satisfy his girlfriend (Krysten Ritter), but can't think of any way to do it. The matter is exacerbated - that's a different kind of "bated" than the one you're thinking of - is the sudden appearance of her childhood friend, Ian Somerhalder from Lost.

The Hollywood Reporter also reveals that several bands will make appearances in the flick, which just proves that where there are musicians, porn stars are sure to follow.

The bands, among them Yellowcard, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus (or as HR coins them in a moment of pop culture absentmindedness, The Red Jumpsuit and Apparatus), and Hellogoodbye, will be in the film because it's the feature debut for music video director Scott Culver.

For Jameson, who used to look human, the movie marks another step towards legitimacy of some kind. I mean, it's hard to argue that making millions upon millions of dollars a year running an adult entertainment empire isn't legitimate, but there have been very few adult actresses who have crossed over into "mainstream" entertainment. Tracy Lords is probably the best example, and she had a much bigger hill to climb than did Jameson.

Are we approaching a day where porn and Hollywood will co-exist? Between sex tapes and Snoop Dogg running his own line of adult videos, we're getting closer to that point.
