Get Your Reluctant Superhero on with Two Clips from 'Hancock'

It was announced over the weekend that Will Smith's Hancock will be moved up a day, meaning that instead of a Friday, July 4th opening, it will do the customary "This Movie's So Big We Can't Hold People Back Another Day!" Thursday opening. So now it's July 3rd and plenty of good seats are still available.

We stumbled onto a couple of clips from the film, which co-stars Jason Bateman and Charlize Theron. I like these clips because they're extended versions of things we've already seen in the trailer. Therefore, it doesn't exactly give anything away, but it does provide a little more context for the scenes.

First we have Hancock "negotiating," I guess, with a pack of criminals.

And here's Hancock discussing his bad image with his new publicist (Bateman), while watching some of his less heroic heroics on captured on YouTube.

I really think Bateman might steal this movie, and if he does, good. He's by far the most interesting thing I've seen from the clips once you get past the initial concept of a superhero who's lost his mojo.
