'Disaster Movie' Gets a Trailer...A Very Bad Trailer
Monday, June 23, 2008 at 6:09PM
Did somebody order a hole in the head? Because I don't need
this trailer for
Disaster Movie, so I figured it must be somebody else.
I can't wait until the filmmaking duo of
Jason Friedberg
and
Aaron Seltzer get around to spoofing their own movies. That's going to be
the best!
Though they've had diminishing returns - Scary Movie 3
made
over $100 million, SM4 made about $90, Date Movie pulled $48, Epic
Movie around
$40 and Meet the Spartans earlier this year could only scrape together $38
million - the bottom line is, well, the bottom line. If these things stop making
money, then they may go away. That's a difficult proposition, though, because
they're so cheap to produce. Hell, they don't even have Anna Faris' salary to
pay anymore.
I must confess that this looks like the worst of the bunch,
with one exception: The dude playing Sarah Jessica Parker looks a lot like that
dude named Sarah Jessica Parker.
The Disaster befalls us all on August 29th.

oh my fucking god
This looks like an abomination.
Please, stop these assholes from making another movie.
now hold on, epic movie sucked big time, but date movie and meet the spartans were at least watchable. besides, if you don't like friedberg and seltzer then just don't see their movies.
Don't you mean the horse named Sarah Jessica Parker?
"now hold on, epic movie sucked big time, but date movie and meet the spartans were at least watchable. besides, if you don't like friedberg and seltzer then just don't see their movies."
stfu...they're garbage
They had nothing to do with Scary Movie 3 or 4 but the characters.
Dont worry ... as you can read at the ending of the trailer "The End is Coming"
Listen, these movies are cheap to produce and make a reasonable profit. People pay to see these. Epic Movie, I thought was the more watchable out of Date Movie and Meet the Spartans. I did find the part with Sarah Jessica Parker and Juno pretty amusing.
