I Want to Believe This 'X-Files' Trailer But I Have No Idea What They're Saying

The new trailer is out for The X-Files: I Want to Believe. When this sequel/non-sequel was first announced, I was both a little surprised and a little disappointed. Since then, learning a tiny bit about the story and finding out that it's not actually an extension of the sometimes laborious storyline used in the last few years of the series, I became more encouraged.

Over time, I saw a few more clips, read a few more statements from writer-director Chris Carter or star David Duchovny and I slowly became convinced that this film could easily be a surprise. I'm actually looking forward to it now.

And when I heard that a second trailer for the film had been released, naturally, I sought it out. A lot of people wish it weren't in Russian - that's right, Russian - but I say, what summer movie trailer works better in Russian than The X-Files? Yeah, the voiceovers are pretty cheesy, but I kind of dig it, anyway.

The X-Files: I Want to Believe opens on July 25th.
