There's something about the word "NecroMutant" that just
denotes a certain amount of fun. Coincidentally, hearing the brand name "Necco
Wafers" have the same effect on me.
You'll find plenty of NecroMutants in the upcoming
futuristic sci-fi
The Mutant Chronicles, in which
Thomas Jane (The Punisher) tries to save
the planet from the deadly scourge. The adventure co-stars
Ron Perlman - and who would've thought "action
guy" for Ron Perlman six or eight years ago? - and the unlikely tandem of
John Malkovich and
Devon Aoki, who, we should point out, will
inherit part of the Benihana fortune someday. No foolin'.
We don't have a release date for The Mutant
Chronicles in the U.S. just yet. We do know that it's coming out on December
11th in Russia, and we've got a couple of new Russian posters for The Mutant
Chronicles to commemorate the occasion.

The Russian posters and the sight of John Malkovich
bring to mind his role of Teddy KGB in the poker flick Rounders, and
specifically, the worst foreign accent ever meant to be taken seriously. He's
playing a guy named Constantine here, so fingers crossed that we don't get a
repeat performance.

Devon Aoki was a bad ass in Sin City. I know nothing about this movie, but my sci-fi sense is tingling. Hopefully it won't be total crap. I'm still looking for another sci-fi epiphone like Bladerunner or The Matrix.
This is as good as Starwars, better maybe, Devon is badder in this one then in Sin City: she can really kick ass. Good story too.
It's a pretty movie, and at times, it did not made me cry but I was moved at the drama. real cool one.
Ouch. The Benihana fortune is unfortunately now nearly hers. Her father just died a day or two ago.
i saw this movie, i hate to say it but it was pretty bad, 3.5/10
Movie was pretty good, much better than expected. See it!
Louie.
Cool posters. But *fingers crossed* on this movie's sci-fi experience. I've read contrasting reviews everywhere. So I'll watch it just to check how a NecroMutant could look on screen.
