Friday, June 6, 2008 at 2:31PM "The Crapening" is Happening
Every now and then, graffiti rules. This is one of those
times.
I won't see the new
Night Shyamalan movie
The Happening
until early next week, but a lot of people are expecting - and saying - the
worst. I really do try to keep an open mind. Many is the time I've expected
greatness only to be disappointed and then there's Galaxy Quest, which I thought
looked absolutely terrible, only went to see it because the screening was close
by, and I loved it. So you can never be safe in your assumptions, not even with
Paul Walker movies, as it turns out.Early reviews
haven't been overly kind to The Happening, but nothing I've read quite compares
to these gems of defacement.
Copyranter caught these beauties in the New York City
subway, days apart, and if this doesn't say some people have turned their backs
on Night Shyamalan, I don't know what does.

Clearly, The Crapening is the better creation,
although it's tough to argue with the raw emotion and lack of craftsmanship
involved in turning the word 'Happening' into 'Penis.' Kudos to Copyrant for the
photos (he has a few more movie posters that have been treated rather shabbily),
and to
\film for running with the story.

Too bad they couldn't take out the adjusted "C" and the second "N" in the second poster...
Brick Tamland, everybody...
Interesting, in the week where we vote for the top five overrated directors you give us stories on Night, Michael Bay, and Spike Lee.
Interesting...
