Two New 'Clone Wars' Posters

Tracking the progress of Star Wars: The Clone Wars has been an interesting undertaking. At first, there was no movie, just a series about the years between Episode II and Episode III. We'd seen another series cover the same ground, but this one appears to be a much bigger deal.

The Clone Wars will be on multiple networks this fall, and after that announcement came earlier this year, we heard the news that prior to the series premiere, LucasFilm would essentially string together the first few episodes into a feature film. The movie is coming out on August 15th, and up until a couple of weeks ago, I wasn't sure how much attention Lucas and Warner Bros. wanted this to get outside of the Star Wars universe set, meaning anyone who doesn't have Wookiepedia set as their home page.

But after I heard it was going to immediately be a wide release, which I think is the right move, I was a little more excited. And then when it was revealed that the trailer for the next Harry Potter movie would premiere in front of Clone Wars in theaters, it became clear: They think (hope) this movie will be a sizable hit.
