Trailer - Matthew McConaughey Refuses Shirt, Good Script in 'Surfer, Dude'

You knew it had to come to this, of course. One day, we'd have to face a movie in which Matthew McConaughey was almost entirely shirtless. He's been shiftless countless times, but that's something else entirely. Though the movie looks absolutely boneheaded, some women will pay to see McConaughey in most of his glory in Surfer, Dude, although we really should point out that he's not a huge box office draw, even for women.

In Surfer, Dude, he plays a surfer, and a dude, looking for some tasty waves. Then there's some big business angle that doesn't appear to make any sense. An evil video game designer, maybe? I dunno.

Here's the trailer, and it's every bit as dimwitted as you might think:

I'll answer the question for you: The beautiful one? Her name is K.D. Aubert. You're welcome.

Anyway, this steaming pile hits theaters this September. Can't wait.

dude i hope you actually saw this movie and realized how its actually much more than you first perceived it as. It may have escaped you, but this movie makes some amazing points about the evils of advertising taking over the world and taking the beauty and honour out of many things. and also if everyone in the world lived like surfer dudes we'd all get along just great and we'd have a society that functions ridiculously better than our current one
